MORNING: START WITH THE ROSWELL STORY
Begin at the International UFO Museum & Research Center on North Main Street. Allow about 60–90 minutes to explore the exhibits surrounding the 1947 Roswell Incident.
Afterward, walk north to BrickTown and Alien Zone. Both are close enough to visit on foot, but you do not have to purchase every attraction. Choose the experiences that best fit your interests, time, and budget.

MIDDAY: LUNCH AND LOCAL ART
Pause for lunch before leaving the downtown alien district. Choose a restaurant that suits your schedule rather than building the day around a specific location.
Then visit the Anderson Museum of Contemporary Art for a completely different side of Roswell. Its galleries feature work connected to the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program and provide a quiet contrast to the attractions along Main Street.
Allow about 60–90 minutes and verify the museum’s current hours before visiting. Admission is currently free, but conditions can change.
AFTERNOON: CONTINUE NORTH
Return to North Main Street and continue to Invasion Station. Browse the alien-themed shop and take photographs of the flying saucer, murals, and outdoor displays.
Finish at Roswell’s UFO-shaped McDonald’s. Even if you are not ready for another meal, it is worth a brief stop for photographs and a look inside the glass-front play area.
These stops are farther from the downtown attractions. Driving will usually be more comfortable, especially during hot weather. Allow approximately 60–90 minutes for both stops, depending on how long you browse.
